We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering - Analytics to lead our analytics engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the effective use of data analytics across the organization. This role will oversee the design, development, and deployment of analytics solutions that provide actionable insights to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms; ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of analytics infrastructure; evaluating and implementing new technologies and tools to enhance analytics capabilities; helping define and implement the analytics infrastructure and engineering strategy, concentrating on scalable data architecture, robust analytics frameworks, and the integration of advanced machine learning capabilities; collaborating with senior product leadership to identify and prioritize analytics initiatives that drive business value; developing project plans to deliver analytics solutions on time and within budget; leading, mentoring, and managing a team of analysts and data engineers; fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the analytics engineering team; developing and executing the team’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives; working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business units, to understand data needs and deliver solutions; communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively; promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization; establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for analytics initiatives; continuously optimizing data processing workflows and analytics models for improved performance and accuracy; ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
