We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team to work on our policy administration system. This is the core of our insurance platform, enabling Product and Engineering to build innovative insurance products and features in the most efficient way. You will work in a cross functional team together with Product and Data to conceptualise and develop new features for our policy administration system. You will be working on continuously improving our insurance platform by refactoring code to decrease complexity, increase observability and efficiency. Engineer solutions with foresight, untangling technical debt to facilitate faster scaling without resorting to one-off solutions. Take ownership of the vision for the policy administration system together with your team and work towards it. Write high quality code and documentation. Work smarter, not harder. Build solutions that enable us to move faster as we scale, rather than having to build one-off solutions. Improve our overall technical system and architecture to scale with our growing portfolio of insurance products. Be a leader in the team of best practices and push our technology forward along with supporting more junior members of the team.
