ABOUT THE TEAM Bestow’s finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organization, from managing and optimizing the company's financial resources to enabling effective decision-making and sustainable growth. Finance comprises various teams, including accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning, providing financial insights and support to facilitate all operations. We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant who will report to our VP, Corporate Controller. This person would report to our Downtown Dallas Office on a hybrid basis. This role will contribute in the following ways: Provide an analytical review of Financial statementsMonitor and advise on internal controlsReview trial balances and complete flux analysis and provide detailed explanationsManage annual audits including creating and providing audit support to external auditors and reviewing staff workpapers.Participate in Annual SOC 1 type 2 control evaluation and reportingSupport the FPA team to streamline information between departmentsComply and maintain accounting policiesReview accounting guidance and drafting of accounting memos ABOUT YOU Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5+ years of relevant work experienceYou are proficient with Google Apps, Zoom, and online chat/communication tools, as well as Microsoft Office products.You have the ability to apply accounting policy to Bestow financial processes.You are highly organized, and you pay close attention to detail.You are deadline-oriented and analytical thought process.You have a basic understanding of Accounting Principles and Control environmentYou have the ability to analyze financial statement fluctuations and communicate effectively.Public accounting experience is highly preferred $115,000 - $130,000 a year Starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
